Exciting things are developing with a focus on young people within Wigan. We have the newly created Youth Hub, under the leadership of Ben Houghton, as well as a new Chaplain, Cameron Don Duncan,  starting at Deanery High School in October.  The Wigan & Leigh College chaplain, Paul Sohi, continues to build on great progress made in year one.  Our schools work will be boosted by the appointment of Dave Hill of 'HeartSmart' who will be helping us explore better connections with life and faith in primary schools.  Meanwhile, our first Pais Team will begin working in High Schools in Wigan in September.

Youth Hub

Ben Houghton is our new Youth Hub leader, joining the team at the beginning of August. He is currently at the listening, reviewing, and planning stage of this journey and is looking forward to building his team, including working with the two chaplains and the Pais team.

Pais Team

The first Pais team will start work in September with Kaja Hermann leading the team of interns, who will be working with local high schools as well as being involved with the Youth Hub.

Starting Thursday 6th October we will be sharing a profile on each of the Pais team members as we fully welcome them to the team.

Dave Hill

Dave has an excellent background in children's ministry and has developed programs for helping schools do life better. For a better idea of what Dave brings to the team go to...
